Renault Modus radiocode
The Renault Modus (2004–2012) is a compact MPV that positioned itself between the Clio and the Scenic. The model was exclusively delivered with the Update List radio, a reliable and simple system that still functions well on the many second-hand models driving around. Due to the age of the Modus, battery replacement is more the rule than the exception, and thus a locked radio is a common scenario for Modus owners.

Wo finde ich den PRE-Code in meinem Modus?
The PRE-code sticker in the Renault Modus is in the glove compartment, on the back wall or bottom. The Modus has a fairly accessible compartment and the sticker is usually clearly readable. For models without a sticker in the compartment: remove the Update List radio with DIN keys — two pairs of keys in the four corner holes of the radio front. On the back of the radio there is always a sticker with the PRE-code.
Nützliche Tipps für den Modus
- The Modus Update List has a simple code entry via radio buttons 1 to 4 — you set each digit with the corresponding button.
- On the Grand Modus (extended version), the location of the PRE-code sticker is identical to the regular Modus.
- Check the glove compartment carefully with a torch — the sticker on older Modus models is sometimes slightly affected by moisture or heat.
- After entering the code, radio stations are not automatically saved — you must set them up again if you have lost the presets.
