Renault Scenic radiocode
The Renault Scenic is particularly popular with families as a compact MPV and is known for its spacious interior. In terms of radio systems, the Scenic runs parallel to the Megane: the Scenic I usually had a simple Tuner List radio, the Scenic II switched to the Update List, and the Scenic III optionally received the Carminat navigation system. For all models: a power interruption leads to a locked radio that requests a code derived from the PRE-code. The Scenic III Grand Scenic shares the same radio base as the regular Scenic and has the same PRE-code location.

Wo finde ich den PRE-Code in meinem Scenic?
The PRE-code sticker on the Renault Scenic is almost always on the inside of the glove compartment — on the back wall or the bottom of the compartment. On the Scenic I, the sticker may also be on the back of the radio. On the Scenic III with Carminat navigation, the sticker is sometimes moved to the left A-pillar area or the boot. Remove the radio via two DIN keys in the corner slots to access the back sticker.

- On the Scenic II and III, the PRE-code is almost always in the glove compartment, even if the car has had multiple owners.
- Note down the PRE-code before replacing the battery — that way you can request the code immediately after the battery replacement without having to remove the radio.
